GRIT

Heart-led + science based meditation is the cornerstone of our Grit Workshops. When we meditate we are activating our para-sympathetic nervous system, which sends a signal to our bodies to relax. And yes, relaxation is an incredible by-product of meditation, but there's more. We meditate to 'up-grade' our brains. Every time we meditate, we are strengthening the healthy neuro-pathways that lead to our pre-frontal cortex (our home of rational thought). So instead of being ruled by our amygdala (our home of fear and panic), we are able to calmly and rationally make good decisions around the stress of life. Give it  a try!
